More Information
Atlas Orion
The Atlas Orion Anamorphic Lens series delivers strikingly beautiful bokeh and signature but controlled flare.
Designed to be a universal filmmaking tool – the lenses are available in PL mount as well as being interchangeable to Canon EF mount, or adapted to Sony E Mount or Micro 4/3 cameras, and are even designed to accommodate the rotating mirror shutter of 35mm Motion Picture Film Cameras following Arri PL Flange requirements. The lenses have a 31mm image circle coverage, larger than a S35mm Image Circle (Alexa Open Gate full height Coverage).
Focus has a deep 270° travel rotation, with Cine pitch 0.8 mod gearing on both iris and focus rings, spaced to allow simultaneous drive control even when two motors are mounted on the same side of the lens.
The Lomos Kit
The Lomo Round-Front Anamorphic Lens series brings a bold, vintage aesthetic with pronounced character and distinctive optical quirks.
Manufactured in the USSR during the 1970s through 1990s, these lenses are famed for their perfectly oval bokeh, vibrant blue horizontal flares, and strong barrel distortion that lends a dreamlike, expressive quality to the image. Despite their age, they offer impressively low focus breathing and usable sharpness wide open, making them a favorite for filmmakers seeking organic texture and analog warmth.
These lenses were the foundation for the famed Vantage Film C-Series, and remain sought after for music videos, period films, and any production looking to escape the clinical look of modern glass.
