Founded in 2014 by producer Judd Tilyard, our independent production company specialises in developing, financing, and producing original feature-length content. From bold genre films to innovative stories that push boundaries, we strive to bring fresh perspectives to the screen.

Based in Queensland, Australia, Dicentium Films is at the forefront of Global independent filmmaking, offering end-to-end services that cover every stage of production. Our expertise spans Development, Packaging and Financing, Production, and Sales.

In addition we proudly operate Australia Regional Film Services (ARFS), facilitating film production in Australia and specializing in one stop servicing of Australia's stunning and diverse remote regions. Through ARFS, we provide filmmakers with access to unique locations, state-of-the-art equipment, experienced crews, and a full spectrum of production support.

Judd Tilyard

Chief Executive Officer & Lead Producer

"Judd Tilyard is Head of Development and Production at Dicentium Films. He is an Australian-born producer, executive producer, and entrepreneur known for crafting and financing commercially driven independent genre genres. With a background in hands-on production that goes back 20 years, spanning commercials and music videos through to a web series and features, Judd has created content for Sony, Warner, Universal, Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, and others.

Travis Akbar

Producer

Travis is a Wongutha man based on Peramangk Country. He is a writer/director/producer, having worked across drama and documentary. His short films have won awards in Australia and abroad. Hehas written on unproduced projects alongside names such as Stuart Beattie, Steph Lady, Victoria Hill and more, selling and optioning scripts in Australia and internationally.

Bryce McLellan

Television Development

Bryce is an Australian writer, director and producer. He wrote VERGE, an acclaimed and best-selling graphic novel published by RED5, which is being adapted as a TV show by Terry Matalas, the Showrunner of STAR TREK PICARD, 12 MONKEYS and Marvel’s VISION, as well as Sony Executive Jonathan Kadin.

Bryce also directs and produces Documentaries with a focus on environmental themes and human rights. His film JESUS IN CONGO was acquired by the United Nations and screened to soldiers and rebel militias in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His documentary SEED, about the 2019 Australian Bushfires, was picked up for broadcast and streaming by SBS.

Louise Todd-Smith

Feature Development

Louise Todd-Smith is a Development Executive at Dicentium Films, and a Sydney-based producer known for emotionally driven, instinct-led storytelling across film and television. A queer Taiwanese-Australian adoptee, Louise brings a grounded yet ambitious approach to creative development, with a background spanning commercials, branded content, and award-winning genre film.

She began her career in the ER, nursing before moving into screen, cutting her teeth at Revolver. Her shorts have screened across 9 Academy-qualifying festivals, winning 8 awards including Best Picture at Fantastic Fest (Austin) and a Jury Mention at Fantasia (Montreal). Louise continues to collaborate with director/producer trio WILL&SEJ.
